Need custom Google Maps development?
Google Maps released an official API yesterday. Although I have a small problem with the API, I see this as a really great development. It means sites such as my chicagocrime.org won't break when Google changes its code, and it'll encourage more independent developers to create interesting map applications.
I'd like to take the opportunity to announce I'm available to do contract work on custom Google Maps projects. Need a simple map on your site? A more complex arrangement of map data? I've been reverse-engineering and playing with Google Maps for three months -- and that's about as experienced as you can be in this extremely young field.
Please contact me if you're interested in my help.
